Hello everyone! I am still settling into my new routine and so my blog has been taking a back seat for a little while. As I am getting used to the routine please bear with me! Hopefully soon I’ll get back into balancing everything equally! Onto today’s post! Since I got the No 7 Airbrush Away Primer in their Advent Calendar last year it has been my Holy Grail primer. It’s the best primer I’ve ever used and it does all the things I want it to. Seeing as I use it for all my tutorials and everyday makeup, I thought it was about time I do a review on it!
`I have been a little MIA from the internet over the past week as there have been some drastic changes, which have been time consuming. But I hope to be back to my regular schedule and update you all soon as to what’s been going on! Let’s jump into today’s post! As a makeup junkie I love to try new beauty products, especially when they are similar to a high end product. So when I picked up the NYX Liquid Crystal Liner last year and the Urban Decay Heavy Metals in Midnight Cowboy in April, I thought it would make a good comparison post!
Recently Soap & Glory launched new face masks and I for one love to try out new face masks and skincare. Recently I have been really into skincare and I was excited to try this range out. When I picked up these under eye patches I was super excited as I hadn’t seen under eye patches here in the UK, I’m sure shops sell them I’ve just never seen them.
I’ve never done a post on trying out multiple products from one brand. Recently I was sent some new eye products to try out from Rimmel* and thought it would be the perfect time to try out a different style post. I was sent the Wonder Wing Eyeliner, Wonder’Fully Real Mascara and the Magnif’Eyes Eye Contouring Palette.
As I love using the Solstice highlighting palette from Sleek, I thought I’d give their Precious Metals palette a go too. After swatching the palette in Boots, the shades looked so pretty and different to what I had in my collection, it came home with me.
I have been thinking about doing this post for a while, I love finding great makeup products especially ones that don’t cost a pretty penny to replace! After narrowing down some of my favourite drugstore products all under £10, here’s the final 10!
At the beginning of this year I made it one of my goals to be more creative and outgoing with my makeup. After looking into different brands and price ranges, I happened to be at the Urban Decay stand After swatching the shades on the back of my hands I decided this was the palette for me!
Having combination skin can often mean no matter what the weather is doing my skin is always looking oily. After years of trying to combat the oiliness to make it more matte, this year I decided I would embrace it. So earlier this year, as the weather started to get warmer, I picked up The Body Shop Instaglow CC Cream in the shade Bright Glow. Continue reading
As soon as I saw NYX were coming out with a drop foundation that you can control the coverage on, they had my attention. I was eager to get my hands on this foundation and kept my eye out for when it would be launching in Boots. It happened that not long after it launched on Boots.com I went to Cardiff with my Mum and I stumbled across the biggest NYX counter I’ve been to. It just so happened to stock all 24 shades of the Total Control Drop Foundation. Of course I didn’t leave without my shade!
Ever since the trend of purple/blue/pink etc hair colour has become more accessible, I have always wanted to try them. But what’s always put me off is hearing of hair horror stories, that the hair dye left their hair green or didn’t wash out properly and left a weird colour. So when L’Oréal came out with a range of shades that wash out after a few washes I was instantly drawn to them.
