Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I don’t usually post on a Sunday, but last night I really wanted to film a new YouTube video. So I did! I wasn’t sure what to film and I haven’t filmed in over two months. So a favourites video seemed like a good place to get me back into the swing of it!
Hello everyone! I am still settling into my new routine and so my blog has been taking a back seat for a little while. As I am getting used to the routine please bear with me! Hopefully soon I’ll get back into balancing everything equally! Onto today’s post! Since I got the No 7 Airbrush Away Primer in their Advent Calendar last year it has been my Holy Grail primer. It’s the best primer I’ve ever used and it does all the things I want it to. Seeing as I use it for all my tutorials and everyday makeup, I thought it was about time I do a review on it!
There’s no denying my love for Becca highlighters. I’ve had my eye on Pearl for a little while and since it finally made it onto my collection it’s been firmly placed in my daily routine! Continue reading
`I have been a little MIA from the internet over the past week as there have been some drastic changes, which have been time consuming. But I hope to be back to my regular schedule and update you all soon as to what’s been going on! Let’s jump into today’s post! As a makeup junkie I love to try new beauty products, especially when they are similar to a high end product. So when I picked up the NYX Liquid Crystal Liner last year and the Urban Decay Heavy Metals in Midnight Cowboy in April, I thought it would make a good comparison post!
Over the past two months I really haven’t used up that much makeup or skincare. I’ve had a good clear out of the products I know I’m not going to use any more or don’t reach for, so my collection is more condensed and there’s actually room for more! So let’s get into the empties for July and August!
I have been really wanting to do an orange eye with a green wing and I am happy I have finally been able to do this look! I wasn’t sure what to call it as I literally just wanted to do orange eyes and a green wing, so calling this look orange inspired seemed appropriate!
Recently Soap & Glory launched new face masks and I for one love to try out new face masks and skincare. Recently I have been really into skincare and I was excited to try this range out. When I picked up these under eye patches I was super excited as I hadn’t seen under eye patches here in the UK, I’m sure shops sell them I’ve just never seen them.
I’ve never done a post on trying out multiple products from one brand. Recently I was sent some new eye products to try out from Rimmel* and thought it would be the perfect time to try out a different style post. I was sent the Wonder Wing Eyeliner, Wonder’Fully Real Mascara and the Magnif’Eyes Eye Contouring Palette.
As I love using the Solstice highlighting palette from Sleek, I thought I’d give their Precious Metals palette a go too. After swatching the palette in Boots, the shades looked so pretty and different to what I had in my collection, it came home with me.
As much as I have been loving exploring using different shades, it’s been a while since I used any warm tones here on my blog. Thanks to a fab suggestion from my gal Kiri, I did a bronze smokey makeup look! At first when I did this look I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but I continued on and I really like how it turned out!
